This year I was part of the Choir, for the “Music Fest” on 19, 20 and 21st of January 2011 and it was the first time on the stage played Drums, opportunity is given to learn and participate by MY SCHOOL. Grading System CBSE Class 10 Board exams made optional

No exam ..... No exam .... a good news for students!

But the value of educational system?.... up? ....down? ....lets review...

It was announced today Monday 01 Sept 2009, Human Resource Development Minister Mr. Kapil Sibal that, from the current academic year, the tens of thousands of students studying in Class 10 need not appear for board exams — the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 examination has been made optional.

Making this announcement HRD Minister Mr. Kapil Sibal announced: "The CBSE Class 10 examinations are optional from the 2009-10 academic year."

"I have said this earlier too," Sibal added after the 56th meeting of the Central Advisory Board on Education (CABE) here, attended by education ministers and officials from states.

He continued that the examination will give way to a Introducing grading system and students would be evaluated throughout the year.

Human Resources Development ministry officials believe this move would help relieve the stress of students and their Parents.

Officials said every school, which have Class 11 and 12, need not conduct the Class 10 exams, at the same, schools with classes till standard 10 may conduct the board exams.

Under the grading system, students would be given grades like A+, A, B, C, D and E.

Mental Math Tricks Play with 9, 99,999..

Many students math can be nightmare. The attitude towards the maths will change this scary figure. Feel always that Maths is simple and easy. Yes maths is fun and it is easy if you apply our mind. I have listed below few mental tricks to hopefully improve your general knowledge of maths and it will help you speed up when you need to do math in your mind.

When you do multiply by 9, or 99, or 999 or even 9999...

Multiply by 9 is really multiplying by 10-1. Anybody notice this? Yes. It is true. So, 9×9 is just 9x(10-1) which is 9×10-9 which is 90-9 or 81. Let’s try for a harder sample: 46×9 = 46×10-46 = 460-46 = 414. One more test: 68×9 = 680-68 = 612. And Whenever you multiply by 99, you multiply by 100-1. I will put this into another way that A×99 is as above explained A×100-A thats all. So any, 46×99 = 46x(100-1) = 4600-46 = 4554. Also same way Multiplying by 999 is similar to multiplying by 9 and by 99. 38×999 = 38x(1000-1) = 38000-38 = 37962. This practice will help everyone improve the mental calculation of every maths activities.

It is so easy with a simple trick we can easily multiply with 4 and 5 in your mind without paper or pen. How it can be? below given trick keep it always in your mind.

when want to multiply By 4

Just double the number and then double it again. (That is in maths aX2X2=aX4)

example: If you want to 250 multiply by 4, we do this way, doubling 250 will be 500. Again double the 500 is become 1000. (Mathematical tricks)

That is 250X4-1000. This can be done in your mind.

Same way

when you want to multiply By 5

Divide the number in 2 and then multiply it by 10. (a/2X10=aX5)

Example: If you want to 100 multiply by 5, we do this way, divide the number 100 by 2 that is 50 and multiply with 10. Multiply by 10 again easy. Add one zero right side of the digit i.e. 50 adding a zero it will become 500. How easy!

Often this also can be done quickly in your mind.

Lists or URLs .edu. and .gov backlinks sites

One of the article I read, if you have a backlink from any .edu or .gov site the google and many search engines will special eye on your blog. I don't know how far this is true but I listed few of the them as comments and some of them as regular. After few days I found the pagerank in google good result. example one of my page was listed in google 23 i.e. third page third, after listing my page came second page begining. listed result after getting backlink from .edu and .gov.

Then I started think how to get all the pages where I can make a comment or list of my website. In my previous post I wrote about how to get exam results page so easily same way I made some keywords tweaks to search and it works well.

Still I am not so sure the need of backlinks form these domain extensions, but there are people feel that having incoming links from .edu and .gov domains to our blog or website is important. Anyway Special or not, onething I am quite sure and can say also more backlinks to your domain can’t any way harm you.

Lots of blogs, article I’ve seen in many bloggers subscribing listing ideas on how to find .EDU and .GOV blogs by make using of advamced search queries in the poppular seaarch engines like google.

In my search I use often Google for all my search attempts, the below given links I used to find potential .EDU and .GOV backlink blogs. But always careful that there are numerous syntax variations for search queries capable of finding these blogs.

Find .EDU and .GOV backlinks based on the accurate weblink structure of the most popular blog management platform is (exmplte. Word press platform): The Idea I used here three Google search queries that search target .EDU and .GOV.

The domains hosted in wordpress will have always login file “wp-login.php” or the Wordpress admin path “/wp-admin/”, Now it is simple if we get results all .edu sites or .gov which has a wp-login page.

These three Google search queries take you directly to the main blog pages by searching for .EDU and .GOV domains containing the terms “no comments” which are keywords usually found on blogs. We can ignore the results that contain keyword phrases suggestting that blog visitor/guest comments are not accepted. You can play around with differaent sets of the keywords for additional search results.

There is another way can have a search but it will limits your number of search results by requiring the URL to contain the term “blog”. remove ( - ) some specific common keywords which we need not required. Obviously this playing with keyword can be applied to the other search queries listed above for added search result filtering. For example, a keyword containing “2007″ helps eliminate old inactive blogs.

Greens Fried Rice

Items Required: (1) Big onions - 5 nos. (2) Basumathi rice - 2 tumblers. (3) Lemon - 2 nos. (4) Coriander - 1 spoon.(5) Amarakantha leaf - 6 bundles. (6) Fenugreek ( methi ) - 1 spoon. (7) Grated coconut - a little. (8) Curry leaf - 4 strings. (9) Oil - 5 spoons. (10) Ghee - 3 spoons. (11) Asafoetida - 1 pinch. (12) Dry chilli - 10 nos.(13) Salt - to taste. (14) Mustard - 1 spoon. (15) Tor dhal - 1 spoon. (16) Beaten bengal gram - 1 spoon.

How to prepare:

Wash Basumathi rice well and soak the same for 15 mins. Then drain off the water and put it in the cooker. After cooking without becoming sticky, pour it to a wide plate so that it cools well. Then wash the leaf well. Wash onions and cut it into pieces. Keep frying pan on the stove with some oil. When the oil is heated, add masala things like cinnamon, coriander, asafoetida, cloves, fenugreek (methi) and also dry chillies and fry it well. Then grate the coconut and add the same switch off the stove. Then put all the things in a mixie and grind.

After that put oil in a frying pan and keep it on the stove. When the oil is heated put the mustard ,add beaten bengal gram, thor dhal, curry leaf and the pieces of onions and the amarkantha leaf and turn them with a spetula. After it is cook well add the rice which has been cooled, masala powder and salt then turn it with a spetula. Add lemon juice and then switch off the stove. Fry the cashew nuts in ghee and mix it with fried rice. Now the tasty greens fried rice is ready.

Main task of a teacher is to educate, teach, guide, because that is the responsibility of teacher. The success of the education is in teachers hand. A Teacher we can compare as responsible driver who drives a bus, would go the destination and face every troubles meet on the way, the driver will reach bus with the travelers safely to destination, with calm and responsibility. Therefore, to become a driver through education and training as well as special features with special expertise as a teacher.

Similarly, as a teacher, the learning process to be successful and to improve the quality of education, the teachers who needed to understand profession, and of course teachers who have insight knowledge and skills so that makes the learning process is active, the teacher is able to make the atmosphere of innovative, creative, and fun.

To become professional teachers also need training and education and special education. Changes in the role of the teacher who has great knowledge and the knowledge and skills changer, and is the only source of learning, the role changed to become leader, builder, teacher, and trainer. In learning activities, teachers will act as a facilitator, be familiar with the full responsibility, and treat students as partners in the quarry and process information for the purpose of learning that has been planned. Heavy responsibility for the employment of teachers should require special expertise.

For the teachers' work can not be done by any person outside the field of education, the teaching profession so that the most easily affected by pollution by outside. Once the teacher do wrong, it will affect the education world, so once a teacher teach to children, it will be impacted and to a generation. Teachers in the profession faces the task of implementing the various options, such as the way how the most appropriate material to study, what the most appropriate method of presentation how the most effective tool, what steps the most efficient source of learning which the most complete, system evaluation is the most appropriate, and so forth.

Teachers have autonomous tasks, teachers are given flexibility to manage the learning process, what should be done by teachers, and teachers must be able to determine the choice by considering all relevant aspects of the achievement or support purpose. In this case, the teachers act as decision makers. Teachers as stakeholders in the operational and must be mentally prepared and to be professional improvement, because only with the performance they can be effective, and the effective performance of the goal can be achieved.

The definition of professionalism here is the ability and skills of teachers in planning, conducting and teaching skills of the teachers to plan and carry out evaluation of student learning. Given the importance of teachers' professionalism in achieving the main goal of education on the scale institutional level, the need of training and professionalism of teachers, so that research results can be obtained and that can be used as an input in making and implementing policy in the field of education especially at primary school level up to middle-both public and private.

The various efforts have been made by government to improve the professionalism of teachers efforts are realized through a variety of training. Motivation to encourage others who need to be various forms of education and training, because that information is still many areas that have not made the education and training of teachers as a fundamental requirement. Even still we have heard the teachers who had not even follow the education and training, especially the teachers on duty in remote or marginal areas. Studies should be performed or whether the study is the relationship between the training and professionalism of teachers in the running duties and responsibilities as a teacher in and outside the classroom. Maths Tip and Tricks: Multiply Up to 20X20 In your mind

In a 5 minutes everyone can learn to quickly multiply upto 20x20 in your mind. With this Mathematical trick, you will be able to multiply any two numbers from 11 to 19 in your mind quickly, without the use of a paper or pen and a calculator.

I will assume that you know your multiplication table reasonably well up to 10x10.

Try this this few example:

Step one: Make 15 x 13 for an example.
Step two: Always place the bigger numbe8r of the two on top in your mind.
Step three: Then draw the shape of Africa mentally so it covers the 15 and the 3 from the 13 below. Those covered numbers are all you need.
Step four: First add 15 + 3 = 18
Step five: Add a zero behind it (multiply by 10) to get 180.
Step Six: Multiply the covered lower 3 x the single digit above it the "5" (3x5= 15)
Step seven: Add 180 + 15 = 195.

That was the trick! isn't that easy? Practice this on paper first!

This maths trick to me one of my friend. It is very funny!
It is very simple:

Ask your friends to remember keep in mind any number. It is always better a two digit number if don't have pen of pencil and paper with you. Now ask him to double that. Add 5 to it. Add 12 more to it and subtract 3 and divide by 2. Now subtract the original number which he was remembering his mind from the above result. Now see the result! it is always 7.

[first we did] - Let us consider the number: 10

[second we did] - Doubling it, we get: 20

[Third we did] - Now adding 5 and 12 successively, we get: 25 & 37

[Fourth we did] - Subtracting 3 from the above yields: 34

[Fifth we did] - Dividing the above number by 2 would make: 17

[Six we did ] - Subtracting 10 (which was the original number) from the above gives: 7

Ingredients Required this:

Milk - 1/2 litre, Sago - 1/4 kg, Sugar - 1kg, Ghee - 100gms, Cashew nuts - 25gms, Reins - 25gms,Cardamom seeds powder -- 1 teaspoon.

Preparation Guide:

Wash the sago well in water. Bake the same in water mixed milk. After the same is boiled,add sugar and ghee. Afterwards you can pour the same to a plate and then eat.

Ingredients Required for this: Groundnut seeds - 100 grams, Coconut - 1/4, Salt - according to your taste, Green chillies - 6 nos., Onion - 2 nos.,Oil - a little, Asafoetida - one pinch, Mustard - 1 spoon.

Method and Preparation:

Peal the field beans from its pods. Cut the inside kermel of coconut into small pieces. Fry coconut, green chillies.Then put the same in a grinding stone and grind. After grinding the same season with mustard put in a pan, with little oil. Now groundnut chutney is ready.

The Musical sounds are given names so that we may distinguish one from the other. Their common names are Do, re, mi, fa, si or in English C, D, E, F, G, A, B,* The symbols used to indicate these sound are called Notes.

Normally,five parallel horizontal lines,called the staff, are employed for expressing these notes on paper. These notes are written either on or in between the lines.

The notes on each line and space indicate a different pitch.The pitch difference between the notes is expressed in terms of tones. The names of the notes depend on a sign called Clef. The Clef is put at the beginning of the staff, of the many types of clefs, the most commonly used are the Treble or G clef and the Bass or F clef. The note written on the line on which G clef starts is G. Similarly the note on the line on which F clefs starts is F. The rest of the notes are calculated from these.

Spinach Leaf Dosa

Have you heard about this Spinach Leaf Dosa? It is easy to make.

Ingredients we need: Rice-1/2 kg, Sugar- 4 spoons, Fenugreek seed-1 spoon, Butter milk - 200 grms, Onions - 2 nos, Ghee -1/2 tumbler, Green chillies - 3 nos, Salt - to taste, Spinach leaf - 2 bundles

Method Of Preparation is so easy:

Wash the rice and fenugreek seed well and soak them in curd for 3 hrs. After the rice is soaked well grind it in a wet grinder and prepare the batter. Put the batter in a vessel,add salt,sugar, chilli and close the vessel for an hour duly mixing.

Remove the stalksof Spinach and separate leaves.Then cut into small pieces, cut the onions also. Afterwards put the pan on the stove and when it is heated smear ghee and pour dosa batter. After dosa is bake keep Spinach leaves and onions on dosa, fold it and roast further. Remove the dosa after due roasting and put in a plate along with tomato chutney.

Coconut Dosa

Ingredient you need. Rice --- 1/2 kg, Coconut --- 1 no, Groundnut oil -- 1 spoon, Salt -- according to taste

Method of preparation to cook.
Soak the rice in water.Grate the coconut and then grind the soaked rice with grated coconut well. After grinding it take the batter to a vessel and add salt and leave the same for some time. Then put a pancake on the stove and pour dosa. your coconut is ready!

Exam are getting over. Summer vacation starts! what is your plan for Summer Holidays? What are going to do this days. Because don't waste time siting at home idle and do nothing. Hasitha and me going to join for Summer Camp in our School. It is always nice to join any one or two activities during holidays. Last year I joined Karate, Clay modeling, and swimming. It helped me a lot. Also getting new friends, new team, it is always nice. There are many interesting Events like Swimming, Cricket, Horse riding, Roller Skating, Yoga, Hindustani Vocal, Physical Fitness Training, Clay Modeling, Painting, Music, Dance, Theatre Class, Karate etc.... What I say utilize our time don't be idle.

This is a season for results, SSC Exam results, ICSE Exam results, CBSE exam Results and many more Universities results. Month of May almost results will starts to release. on the result day all students will rushing to check where can get the result on line. and that is OK.

NOW THIS IS TIME all search engines filled with pages of links saying here is the results. A rough search I made about 10,000 of pages give results page link. they all say here is the result. When we reach there that page will say here is the link to reach results page.

So this type of above mentioned "filtering" and results-of-the-search will help reaching the right page without spending much time on net. It happened even for me, I was doing a search for the official website of ICSE. I spent about 3 hours but couldn't find.
